　　2.了解如何在动态城市和郊区地区制定规划决策；

　　3.将地理信息系统应用于规划领域；

　　4.了解适用于区域分析和规划的各种GIS应用程序。

　　Course Objectives：

　　To understand concepts of regional analysis and planning.

　　To understand how planning decisions are made in dynamic urban and exurban regions.

　　To apply geographic information systems to the field of planning.

　　To learn about a variety of GIS applications appropriate for regional analysis and planning.

　　1、Chapter Assignment Reports                                   50% of grade (5 points each).

　　2、Capstone Planning Project and Report (20 points)             20% of grade.

　　3、Final Exam:                                                  30% of grade.
